WHEN: April 16 and 17, noon - 10pm, both days
COSTS: General Admission is $7 per day, or $10 for a weekend pass; the festival runs noon - 10p each day.
VOLUNTEERS GET IN FREE,
Our work usually consists of helping at one of the many gates to the event, making sure that patrons don't bring in any beer or outside food, or doing stagehand work.
-Working one 5 hr shift gets you access to the backstage on the day that you are working... snacks and beverages provided.
-Working 10 hours over the event weekend (equivalent to 2 shifts) Gets you a nifty bob marley t-shirt, and access to the backstage, where snacks and beverages will be provided. You may spread your time out over both days, or you may work only one day of the event weekend.
Now down to the brass tacks: If you are interested in volunteering, please email me back with your choice of the following shifts. First come, first serve. Cut and Paste your preferences in your reply to me, please.
Sat 2:30p - 7:30p (5 hrs)
Sat 4:00p - 9:00p (5 hrs)
Sat 5:00p - 10:00p (5 hrs)
Sat 6:30p -10:30p (4 hrs counts as 5hrs)
Sun 2:30p - 7:30p (5 hrs)
Sun 4:00p - 9:00p (5 hrs)
Sun 5:00p - 10:00p (5 hrs)
Sun 6:30p -10:30p (4 hrs counts as 5hrs)
(All shifts get backstage access and refreshments, 2 shifts gets backstage access, refreshments and an event staff T-shirt.)
Some people are true maniacs about this event, and work more than the 10 hours required to earn a shirt...if you are one of those, please let me know, there's no limit to the amount of hours you can help out!)
