A few of us have elected to reserve a separate campsite, since we like to come up with our own menu, as well as more space helps cut down on the noise at night.
If anyone is interested, I've reserved a group campsite for the nights of Nov. 7-9. A minimum of ten people for this site is required, and we still have room for five folks at this time. There's lots of great areas to hike and enjoy the scenic views, or just relax in the Chisos Basin campground.
Expenses will include a camping fee of $3 each night, and $15 per vehicle. In addition, gas and meals on the road. For a few dollars extra, we can probably have use of shower facilities. And what's a trip to West Texas without a trip to La Kiva and Terlingua ghost town for a night out?
